October Updates on Nehalem Senior Lunches and donation items needed for the Food Pantry.

Changes to SNAP are beginning October 1, 2025 under the Republican Budget Bill (H.R.1), and 313,000 Oregonians will be affected.

Munch A Lunch 2025 Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers supporting the Munch A Lunch program this year. Our 2025 Munch A Lunch program gave out 100 summer lunch bags to kids in k-12 at our designated locations. Each bag contained a week's worth of shelf stable lunches. Your generosity and donations make this all possible!

September Updates on Nehalem Senior Lunches and our Food Pantry. Menu for NSL is included as well as our Pantry's needs.

Wrapping up the summer, the CHILD team prepared Backpacks with school supplies, a new outfit, new shoes, a new jacket, undies & socks for 49 children.  Today, the Saturday before school starts, all these have been picked up by grateful parents.  It's time to go back to school! Those attending Nehalem Elementary School who are automatically enrolled in swimming lessons get new beach towels & swimsuits as well.  Each child also received a bag with toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand
